Phil Perry has NO plans of retiring, especially now that he is no longer in Pain. He has recovered from two hip replacements from falls he took during performances when he was overworked and overweight back in the early 2000's. As his four children are all grown now, the hustle has ended...
but his popularity has not ended and is growing among younger Listeners, as much as it is with those in his own Boomer generation.
The shows feature both smooth jazz, and classic RnB songs that he has written, covered, and/or recorded along with those he wrote for the classic 70's soul group - the Montclairs. From the age of 17 thru 22, Phil Perry was the groups sweet falsetto Lead Singer and Writer 50 years ago.
As an older performer having since performed on stage for over 5 decades, he now prefers to stay home on the sunny west coast through the winter months experienced throughout the country and the world.
